EIght minutes into the podcast, guest Jason Newton mentions that Louis Cyr would visit the blacksmith of Napierville, named Trudeau, and chuckles saying that there is no relation to Prime Minister Justin Trudeau. I wouldn’t be so quick to say that. Trudeau’s grandfather, Charles-Émile Trudeau, grew up in Napierville and the family had lived there for at least 4 generations. He is very likely related to the blacksmith.
