When we first interviewed Jason, we were lucky enough to have him in the studio. After our interview with him, we starting talking and came across a topic all of us were interested in, Louis Cyr. So Jesse and Jason researched “The World’s Strongest Man” and have an amazing episode for you. The facts about him may or may not be true but his legacy is a great one. EIght minutes into the podcast, guest Jason Newton mentions that Louis Cyr would visit the blacksmith of Napierville, named Trudeau, and chuckles saying that there is no relation to Prime Minister Justin Trudeau. I wouldn’t be so quick to say that. Trudeau’s grandfather, Charles-Émile Trudeau, grew up in Napierville and the family had lived there for at least 4 generations. He is very likely related to the blacksmith.
